1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using the Participants Hub (“the Hub”), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions, our Privacy Policy, and the applicable laws of New Zealand. If you do not accept these terms, please do not use the Hub.

2. Purpose and Use of the Hub

2.1 The Hub is provided as an informational platform to:
• Share curated content about waste diversion and sustainability,
• Host participants in New Zealand's official Recycling Week campaign, and
• Promote participation in Recycling Week and related initiatives.

2.2 You acknowledge that:
• The information provided on the Hub is for general awareness purposes only and may not always be complete or up to date,
• Reclaim makes no guarantees about the accuracy or reliability of the content,
• Your use of the Hub is at your own risk.

3. User Registration and Information

3.1 Registration is required to access certain features of the Hub.

3.2 By registering, you agree to:
• Provide accurate and complete information,
• Allow Reclaim to retain your contact details and logos,
• Permit Reclaim to use these details for communication, engagement, and promotion of your participation in Recycling Week unless otherwise requested in writing.

4. Use of Official Recycling Week Logos

4.1 The Hub may provide access to official Recycling Week logos and promotional materials.

4.2 Reclaim encourages registered users to use these official logos on their personal and organisational communication channels — including websites, email signatures, and social media — to:
• Show their involvement in Recycling Week,
• Help raise awareness of waste diversion efforts across New Zealand.

4.3 These logos must not be altered or used in a misleading or defamatory way and remain the intellectual property of Reclaim or its licensors.

5. Intellectual Property

5.1 New Zealand's Recycling Week campaign was established by Reclaim and has been run by Reclaim since 2013.

5.2 All content on the Hub, including logos, text, graphics, and downloadable assets, is owned by or licensed to Reclaim unless otherwise stated.

5.3 Users may use downloadable materials solely for the purpose of promoting Recycling Week or as explicitly permitted.

6. Privacy and Data Use

6.1 Your information is collected and managed in accordance with the Privacy Act 2020.

6.2 By registering, you consent to Reclaim using your information for communications and awareness activities related to the Hub’s purpose.

7. Limitation of Liability

7.1 Reclaim provides the Hub and its contents on an “as is” basis without warranties of any kind.

7.2 To the fullest extent permitted by law, Reclaim disclaims any liability for damages or loss resulting from the use or inability to use the Hub or its materials.

8. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of New Zealand. Any disputes arising under these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the New Zealand courts.

9. Terms

Reclaim reserves the right to change these Terms and Conditions at any time by posting changes directly into these online Terms and Conditions. You are responsible for regularly reviewing information posted on the Participants Hub to obtain timely notice of any changes to these Terms and Conditions. Your continued use of the Hub after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of these Terms and Conditions as modified by the posted changes.
